Modules Overview

The CAS ELTV combines knowledge, skill, and coaching modules to help participants build a comprehensive set of competencies to start, grow, and lead technology-based new ventures.

The CAS is structured around four building blocks, each with a different knowledge, skill, and personal development focus:

  • Block I - Core Knowledge (7 ECTS): Five knowledge modules on entrepreneurial strategy, teams, marketing & sales, new venture finance, and venture growth offer foundation knowledge important in running an entrepreneurial business. Each module requires online preparation and ca. 1.5 days of on-campus presence (usually Fridays/Saturdays)
  • Block II - Business Project (4 ECTS): Throughout the CAS runtime, participants work on the development of a business project. Faculty coaches will guide these projects and also link CAS participants to industry experts and mentors to help develop their business skills and move forward with their projects. For Pioneer Fellows, their scholarship program will facilitate the business project coaching and mentoring.
  • Block III - Leadership Development (2 ECTS): Throughout the CAS run-time, senior international executive coaches help participants identify and upgrade their professional leadership profile and develop clear action plans for taking on more responsibilities in their career.
  • Block IV - Study Trip (2 ECTS): One week international study trip, during which CAS participants immerse into an international entrepreneurial ecosystem for inspiration, strategic networking, as well as skill-building in pitching and business communication.

You will find more information about the four blocks with their modules on the linked detail pages.
